If golf is king, then tennis is the crown prince in the Naples participation sports scene.

Tennis is available at any level and part of the amenity package at all major planned communities, even communities built around golf will provide major tennis facilities complete with tennis professionals, pro shop and lights for night play. Almost all tennis courts in the area are fast-drying green composition courts. Even with the summer rains, play can generally be continued almost immediately.

World Tennis Center

World Tennis Center boasts 16 tennis courts (11 clay, 5 hard, 10 lighted for night play) and a 2,500 seat stadium. A full service pro shop, USPTA professional tennis staff offering instruction, programs and tournaments, and a tennis calendar of activities for all ages and ability levels.

Public Courts

Aside from the planned residential communities, there are three significant public tennis centers. These facilities are open to all residents and visitors. Stop by, it's a great way to meet other tennis players and potential partners to get ready for the Annual City of Naples Tennis Championships held the entire month of May at Cambier Park. One of the largest tennis tournaments (600 entries) covering ALL play from beginner to Open levels.
